After wondering combien de baguettes et de croissants (how many baguettes or croissants) you could ask for in French, you are now wondering how many macarons or pains au chocolat you could order?  Look no further…

French Numbers 2 A French Numbers (2)

I heard you can buy the macarons by the meter (acheter les macarons au mètre).  My health didn’t allow me to try that yet.  And probably will never allow me.  So I am waiting for your feedback.

If you just want to order 2 pains au chocolat or 5 or 7 macarons, head to the first French Number page.

If you want to know how to say “Please”, “Thank you” and “Goodbye” to the French baker, consider checking out the French greetings post.

Do you need help with your French pronunciation?

Thatsthekindofgirl Do you need help with your French pronunciation?(Photo Twin Peaks via melancolie1.tumblr.com)

  • Are you having a bad time with your French pronunciation?
  • Do people not understand you in stores?
  • Are you frustrated and seem to never get it no matter how many efforts you put in?
  • Is your pronunciation hindering your credibility?
  • Or worse, are you losing clients and money because of your pronunciation?

If you have answered “Yes” to one of these questions and are ready to tackle the problem, I would LOVE to work with you because I am also called the French Pronunciation Doctor.  I have been there myself and I have conquered the nasals, the “r”, the awfully cute acute “u” etc.  Today people literally think I am a native speaker.

If you are struggling, why not take advantage of this great pack that I am so proud of and that established my know-how and transformed so many of my clients into happy raving francophones?  The 30 DAY FRENCH PRONUNCIATION BREAKTHROUGH is up and running for one month only (until June 25 midnight PDT)…   AND is available for 990€, instead of 1250$.

It is full of ressources, useful exercises, funny tips and trucs to help you take your French pronunciation to the next level.  Not only will you finally be successful, but you will gain a sense of ease and of authority in French.  And you will also improve your general level of conversation and discover more about the local culture!

30 Day Breakthrough   –   990$ (instead of 1250$)
We will work together for 30 days via Skype.
The sessions will be 45 minutes long on week days.
Schedules allowing we will also work 10-15mn on weekends

French Phrases and French Pronunciation with a children’s song

4d6f8049674a1d7 French Phrases and French Pronunciation with a childrens song

This is a classic children’s song.

However, I find it useful for all French learners because

  • in a very short space, you have a lot of French structures (“n’y est pas”, “si” + conditionnel).
  • the phrases are written out which allows us to clearly identify the words.

N.B.  The formal French for the last line of the refrain is:  “Il NE nous mangera pas.”

Click on the image or the following link and practice your French pronunciation!  Lots of new French phrases!

French Song… French pronunciation with Rose
